I get stopped every time I wear these.

Wore them to a friend's beach wedding and three women asked where I got them before the ceremony even started. They are so light I forgot I had them on. Major compliments magnet.

The colors are even better in person.

I was nervous about ordering colorful earrings online and these went way beyond what I expected. The turquoise is so vivid. I wore them to brunch and got compliments from the host and two strangers.

My new go-to statement pair.

Lightweight enough to wear all day, bold enough to wear with a plain white tee and feel dressed. Three coworkers asked about them in one week. Already eyeing the spiral pair next.

What is tagua?

The Amazon's
vegetable ivory.

Tagua is the seed of the tagua palm (Phytelephas), a tree native to the Amazon and Pacific rainforests of Ecuador, Peru, and Colombia. The seeds grow inside woody pods, fall naturally to the forest floor, and dry into a material as hard and luminous as ivory.

For centuries, Indigenous communities have carved tagua into buttons, beads, jewelry, and small sculpture. No tree is cut, no animal is harmed, and the palm produces a new crop year after year. It is one of the most sustainable luxury materials in the world.

Every Kristi Spiral earring is hand-carved, polished, and painted with organic vegetable dyes by artisans in Ecuador. Because each piece begins as a real seed, color, grain, and size vary slightly, yours is its own.
