It's an Amazonian sun oil built around urucum (annatto) seeds, infused into raw cacao oil with buriti and babassu. Urucum is naturally rich in carotenoids, the same family of plant compounds that give the skin a warm, golden tone, so the oil enhances and deepens your tan as you sit in the sun.

Yes, always. The Brazilian Bronzing Oil is a body oil, not an SPF. It supports and enhances your natural tan but does not block UV rays. Please wear a mineral or broad-spectrum SPF underneath, especially if you are fair-skinned, very sun-sensitive, on photosensitizing medication, or spending more than a short window in direct sun. Apply sunscreen first, let it absorb, then layer the oil on top.

The oil has very minimal transfer and almost no streaking once it absorbs. Give it about 5–10 minutes to soak in after applying. As with any natural plant-pigmented oil, we recommend wearing darker fabrics on the first wear and avoiding light-colored swimsuits, sheets, or upholstery until the oil has fully set into the skin.

Yes, a small amount of cosmetic-grade mica is included for a soft, sun-kissed luminosity. The mica we use has been tested for safety and purity, is ethically sourced, and is blended into a fully organic plant-oil base. It is not glittery, it simply catches the light the way real sun does.

Yes. It gives a warm, glowing finish on its own and is beautiful on legs, shoulders, and décolleté for an evening out. The deepening tan effect, of course, develops with sun exposure.

It's a night oil designed to help your body unwind before sleep. Blue lotus is blended with jojoba, babassu, and maracujá (passionfruit) oils to soften the skin and help the nervous system settle.

The Stillness Body Oil does not contain magnesium. Magnesium is reserved for our Stillness spray and bath potion. The oil is purely plant-based: blue lotus with jojoba, babassu, and maracujá.
