Brazilian clay is mineral-rich earth pulled from the riverbeds and clay deposits of Brazil's tropical interior, the Amazon basin, the northeast coast, and the wetlands in between. For centuries it has been used by Indigenous and Afro-Brazilian women as a beauty ritual: a handful of damp earth, smoothed on the face, washed away in the river.
Different regions of Brazil produce different colored clays, and each color carries a different mineral profile, iron, magnesium, silica, kaolin, sea salts. That is why one color soothes, another detoxes, and another brightens. The earth is doing the work; we just put it in a beautiful pouch.
Our masks are pre-blended and ready to use. No water, no mixing bowl, no mess. Open the pouch, smooth onto clean skin, wait, rinse. That is the entire ritual.
I have rosacea-prone skin and most clay masks burn. The pink one is the first that actually feels soft going on. I came out of the bathroom looking calmer than I went in.
Used it twice this week after long days outside. My skin feels actually clean for the first time in months. Not stripped, not tight, just clean. Obsessed.
I did the yellow mask the morning of a wedding and my makeup sat better than it has in a year. The turmeric tint comes off completely and leaves this lit-from-within thing. 10/10.
Everything I touch breaks me out. The pink clay is the first mask I've worn in years without flushing. My partner asked what I did to my skin the next morning.
I tossed my clarifying cleanser, my pore strips, and my detox toner. The blue mask twice a week does what all three were trying to do. Skin is glassier than it has ever been.
I have dark spots from old acne and three weeks of the yellow mask twice a week and they are visibly lighter. I almost cried. Beautiful packaging too.
