By Kristi · July 5, 2026

How it started
Centuries ago midwives and herbalists in Asia mapped tender knots on the body while helping neighbors with birth pains and fevers. They saw patterns. A sore point on the hand eased a headache. A pinch behind the ankle calmed menstrual cramps. Word spread and the map grew. Over time these body dots lined up into rivers called meridians.
